It was such a nice surprise when my husband told me that we were going to Hong Kong. I couldn't believe him. But he assured me that yes we were going there. Well, let me just make this note short :)
We left for Hong Kong on 11 Dec 2010. We went to Soekarno Hatta Airport at 5:30. After we took care of everything, like immigration procedures, then we were just waiting in the boarding lounge. We flew with Garuda. After waiting for hundreds of minutes :), finally, the boarding time. During the flight, there were times the weather was not really nice, bumpy flight, air turbulence, etc. Then, after about 4 hours and 30 minutes, we arrived in Hongkong at 15:50. Then, we headed to the hotel by taxi. So, this is Hongkong, I said to myself. It took us about 45 minutes to get to the hotel. Then after we had our meals and rested for a while, at around 19:30 Hongkong time, we went out for a walk. And we decided to go to Hongkong Convention Center to enjoy the "Symphony of Lights" by the hotel shuttle bus. Wow! it was sooooo beautiful. Even though we were actually tired, the wind blew so hard, and it was such a cold night, we really enjoyed the moment. Unfortunately we didn't see the Golden Bauhinia. it was covered temporarily. I have no idea why they covered it.Then at 8:15 we decided to go back to the hotel. We were trying to find the shuttle bus, but couldn't find it. After some times, we took a taxi to go back to the hotel. And we went to sleep....
